7 in one fell swoop – MEDICAL FORGE LEIPZIG starts a new round

MEDICAL FORGE Leipzig, an accelerator for young innovative medical technology companies on the BioCity Campus Leipzig, facilitates entry into the German healthcare market and brings seven international start-ups to Saxony.

After a successful start in 2022 with 8 international startups, MEDICAL FORGE Leipzig - Accelerator for Medical Devices and Therapies is entering the second round. Seven teams
are supported in the 12-month program on their way into the German healthcare market and benefit from the cooperation with the local innovation ecosystem in the healthcare sector.
The structural change project - funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection - aims to create long-term jobs in Leipzig and in the central German district
and to further strengthen Leipzig as a business location, particularly in the field of life sciences.
On the one hand, MEDICAL FORGE offers fully equipped biochemistry laboratories, a 3D printer and electronics workstations in BIO CITY LEIPZIG, on the other hand, the teams in the areas of regulatory affairs, market access and business development are coached. During the Welcome Week (03.04/07.04.2023/XNUMX to XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX) the teams not only got to know each other, but also discovered a lot of interesting facts about the city of Leipzig on a city tour. Tuesday was all about networking. In a "World Café" format, the teams had the opportunity to meet the partners of MEDICAL FORGE, similar to speed dating.
