Biotechnology Days 2021 on September 20th and 21st in Stuttgart

The Biotechnology Days 2021 will take place on September 20th and 21st, 2021 in Stuttgart. After the cancellation of the DBT 2020 in Wiesbaden due to Corona, the initially mentioned date in April 2021 had to be postponed to autumn. The German Biotechnology Days will be organized next year in Stuttgart by BioRegio STERN Management GmbH, in joint responsibility of BIO Deutschland and the working group of the BioRegions. The partner region is the health network BioLAGO eV from Konstanz.

dr Janin Sameith, Project Manager Life Sciences & Bioeconomy at the business development agency Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH, is looking ahead, even if the Biotechnology Days 2020 could not take place in Wiesbaden as planned due to Corona: "The German Biotechnology Days are the largest national industry meeting for biotechnology. We would have loved to have hosted the extremely lively German life sciences scene," says Dr. Sameith. "Now I look forward to handing over the staff to Dr. Klaus Eichenberg from BioRegio STERN Management GmbH, who will be inviting people to the Biotechnology Days in Stuttgart.”

The initially planned date in April was put to the test again - and finally postponed to September 20th and 21st, 2021. "We want planning security for everyone involved and have therefore decided to start in the autumn of next year," explains managing director and host Dr. Eichenberg. "We are very confident that after the long break, the Biotechnology Days 2021 in Stuttgart will be a great success again." All the organizers are certain that it is precisely the innovations from biotechnology that will help to overcome the corona pandemic.

The German Biotechnology Days are carried out jointly by BIO Germany and the working group of the BioRegions. The two-day conference, which usually takes place annually, is considered the most important forum for the exchange of experiences between all players in the German biotechnology scene and as a central industry meeting for entrepreneurs, researchers and partners from politics, funding institutions and administration.
